How should I prepare for my appointment if I’m getting filler?
Stop drinking and smoking a day or two before your treatment. Let your injector know if you have cold sores or active infections around the treatment areas.
Should I expect any downtime when getting filler?
Our fillers do not involve any downtime. You can resume your daily activities immediately after the injections. You might experience mild redness, swelling, and irritation around the injection sites, but it’s not enough to keep you from work. Most patients opt for Juvederm fillers during their lunch break.
Is it painful to get filler?
Getting an injectable does involve needles. If you’re getting filler we numb the area with creams and/or lidocaine prior to treatment.

After your Botox, you may experience swelling, redness, bruising, and discomfort around the injection spots for a few days, but the side effects are mild and temporary. How does Semaglutide, Gycine + B12 and Tirzepatide, Glycine + B12 help you lose weight?
Semaglutide, Glycine + B12 and Tirzepatide, Glycine + B12 belong to the GLP-1s class of medications that support sustained weight loss by targeting underlying metabolic pathways. GLP-1s regulate digestion by slowing down the movement of food from the stomach to the intestines, which results in regulating sugar absorption and prolonging the feeling of fullness.
Semaglutide, Glycine + B12 was FDA-approved in 2021 for treating patients who are considered overweight. It offers a new, sustainable way to manage weight by reducing the feeling of hunger and cravings. Semaglutide, Glycine + B12 has been shown to help people lose a significant amount of weight and keep it off much longer than any other weight loss solution on the market.
Tirzepatide, Glycine + B12 (Mounjaro) received FDA approval in May 2022. It’s the first and only dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 receptor agonist) for treating adults with type 2 diabetes. The benefit of being both a GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist is that GIP has been shown to decrease food intake and increases energy expenditure, so it aids in weight loss. Combining GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonists can have a more significant impact on metabolic dysregulation.
These medications also improve metabolic function by regulating blood sugar levels, increasing insulin sensitivity of muscle cells, and regulating fat cell development. GLP-1s have been clinically proven to reduce inflammation markers, leading to a decrease in inflammatory response and oxidative stress.
GLP-1s aid in shifting the body’s set point, the weight that the body tries to maintain, by impacting the brain’s areas that help curb cravings, make you feel full faster, and increase energy expenditure. GLP-1s offer a more comprehensive and sustainable approach to weight loss compared to older classes of prescription weight loss medications.
