Having worked in aesthetics since 2018, she has served as a medical director for multiple practices providing medical-grade aesthetic treatments. At Hello YOU, our practice is made up of family nurse practitioners that are licensed to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications. The benefit of a nurse practitioner performing aesthetic treatments is that they can assess the needs of the patient and treat accordingly without having physician supervision.
New guidelines require a medical consult by a nurse practitioner, physician, or naturopathic medical doctor prior to any medical aesthetic performed treatment by a registered nurse, laser technician, or aesthetician. By having our practice led by nurse practitioners, we are able to keep pricing low for all of our patients while providing high-quality care.
